World Wildlife Fund (WWF), the world’s leading conservation organization, seeks a Climate, Energy, and Business intern with a background in energy and climate economics, engineering, or policy to perform research on renewable energy and business.
Working with WWF’s Global Climate and Energy Lead Scientist, the intern will (1) support internet and interview-based research on corporate energy and climate programs; and (2) assist in research in renewable energy economic modeling. Duties will include performing internet research, structured interviews, literature reviews, and quantitative calculations.
Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) or at least three years training toward it in an energy and climate-related field, including economics, policy, or engineering; current enrollment in graduate program preferred; strong data management and communications skills. Strong knowledge of Excel required; knowledge of R/python a plus.
