World Wildlife Fund (WWF), the world’s leading conservation organization, seeks a Senior Program Officer, Corporate Water Stewardship. As part of the water stewardship group and broader freshwater team, supports bilateral corporate and multi-stakeholder engagement to advance high impact initiatives and drive water stewardship approaches in priority basins; advises corporate partners on how to strengthen water stewardship strategies using key tools, such as global risk assessment tools, AgWater Challenge Supply Chain criteria and the AWS Standard; and also fosters wider uptake of water stewardship in priority sectors and with key influencing platforms and works collaboratively through the WWF network, US office and external partners to drive toward conservation outcomes via water stewardship.

Education/Experience: A Master’s degree or MBA is preferred, ideally with an emphasis in corporate environmental management, sustainability or environmental science and management; Position requires 3-5 years of experience in any or some combination of the following: water resources management (corporate preferred), agriculture, business sustainability, supply chain standards and reporting, as well as an understanding of international freshwater conservation issues.
