    World Wildlife Fund (WWF), the world’s leading conservation organization, seeks a part-time Travel Marketing and Operations Intern at our Washington, DC office. This position is responsible for editing, conducting research, writing and providing general assistance to the Travel and Conservation team.

    Responsibilities

    Internship Description:

    - Curate, research, write and edit stories as needed for the WWF Travel blog

    - Provide assistance editing and proofreading documents and mailings for its Member and Major Donor trips

    - Monitor and respond to inquiries that come through the WWF Travel email inbox

    - Assist with periodic data entry, monthly expense coding, and photo asset management

    - Support monthly social media curation

    - Perform other duties as assigned 

    Qualifications

    Minimum Requirements: 

    • Bachelor’s degree in communications, media, marketing, tourism or related subject is required. Current graduate student preferred.
    • At least two years relevant professional experience. Event management, marketing or travel industry experience is desirable and preferred. 
    • Must live in the Washington metropolitan area
    • Ability to multi-task projects, excellent attention to detail, organized and a self-starter
    • Excellent written and spoken English – other languages an advantage
    • Ability to work as part of a team in a multi-cultural environment
    • Interest in conservation, tourism and environmental issues
    • Advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills, exposure to Adobe Photoshop
